Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God and where they would feed her for 1,260 days.+
14 But the two wings of the great eagle+ were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is to be fed for a time and times and half a time*+ away from the face of the serpent.+

You see, the woman is said to flee to a place that God has prepared for her in the wilderness.
    But where is that?

    And when to flee there?

Many on internet believe this happens on September 23, 2017. I agree, that it is possible. And to be sure that that is the time, that should become evident if the holy place is attacked on that date and the daily sacrifice is stopped and the sanctuary defiled, according to Daniel.

So let's say this happens on September 23. Who or what represents the woman? And to which wilderness she goes?

I think the woman represents the christian congregation in general in our time. And if that is the case, quite many of congregation members should decide to flee when the holy place is attacked. The holy place should be the headquarters of Jehovah's witnesses, similarly as the holy temple in Jerusalem was the center of worship for Jehovah God for long time.

It is said the woman is feed in the wilderness. This I understand means that some anointed give spiritual food to the christian congregation in the wilderness.

So the big question is where is the place that God has prepared for it? Which wilderness? I think the wildernesses in Australia would be the best. They are not too hot or cold. And as far as I know there are not so much dangerous people around in Australia as in the rest of the world. And there is a lot of space in Australia.

There was a 1260 day period from the time our Lord was sacrificed, until Cornelius was baptized, fulfilling the last half of the 70th week. (Dan 9) There was also a 1260 day period fulfilled from 66-70 CE, and as well a finally in the time of the end, when a constant feature will be removed, then 1290 days later a disgusting thing placed.

Rev 11:2 "But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth.”

That is in captivity to Babylon, metaphorically, meaning that after the constant feature is removed, Gods people will be without their constant sacrifice...

I do not believe the physical stars are what is represented in Rev 12, nor do that have any scriptural significance... IMO

The women is the same women in Gen 3:15, it is the bride of Christ, his organizational structure.

The sacrifices ceasing and the disgusting thing being placed are separated by 1290 days, they do not happen on the same day...

What is on September 23? And be aware of Deuteronomy 18:20-22 if nothing happens on that day.

The idea is that Rev 12 is speaking of constellations and stars lining up as pictured in that chapter, but for a more scriptural explanation I direct you to this thread here: "Rev 12 Verse by Verse"

As a generic comment, "the wilderness" in the scriptures are where Jehovah refines his messengers for the task ahead.

    AWAY from institution, "nation", etc.

    And usually a base-40 time period :)

There are quite a lot examples where God's servants spent time in a literal wilderness before entering something else or before begining a new task.
