    As an example, please compare the picture below and more specifically the colour which the "fingerprints" of sodium are in...

    Different list of verses :

    2 Peter 3:5-6 - NIV

    "But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
    By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
    "

    2 Peter 3:5-7 - NLT

    "They deliberately forget that God made the heavens by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood."

    2 Peter 3:5-6 - ESV

    "For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God,..."

    2 Peter 3:5-7 - The Message
    "They conveniently forget that long ago all the galaxies and this very planet were brought into existence out of watery chaos by God's word. Then God's word brought the chaos back in a flood that destroyed the world. The current galaxies and earth are fuel for the final fire. God is poised, ready to speak his word again, ready to give the signal for the judgment and destruction of the desecrating skeptics."

    2 Peter 3:5-6 - ASV

    "For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God;
    by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

    Yeah, it's a good question, but, is it only confined to snakes of the Squamata order? Or, does it include all reptiles? ;)

    Here is an interesting article about time/space, the speed of light, and wave/particle rules.
